The Home Transfer Centre can advise you and prepare your will.
If you do not have a will or your circumstances have changed since
you last made one then do not hesitate to contact us.
You need the following information to prepare a will:
- Your full name, address and occupation
- Full name, address and occupation of the person(s) you want to
be your Trustees and Executors.
- Full name, address and occupation of the person(s) you want to
be your Beneficiaries
- Details of any specific gifts you wish to give your
Beneficiaries.
- Details of the share of your estate each Beneficiary will
receive and when they receive it.
- Full name, address and occupation of the person(s) you wish to
be guaradian of your infant children. (if applicable)
- Details of the person(s) you wish to be given your estate
should all Beneficiaries pass away before you.
- Do you wish to be cremated or buried? Other funeral
details?

Helpful Definitions
Trustees & Executors: this is the person(s)
who manage your affairs when you pass away.
Beneficiaries : these are the people you leave
your assets to when you pass away.
Estate: this is your land / house or property ,
vehicles, shares & money etc i.e. everything that you own.
Guardian: this is the person(s) who take legal
responsibility for the care and welfare of a child if both parents
pass away. |
